Rebecca and Yora

Yora is doing really well realising it's her responsibility to move when Gabriel is on his way or running around (I suspect the purpose of all this is becoming clearer and clearer to her now that Gabriel is on the rampage) and she will gladly go, unprompted, to her mat when she needs to get out of the way, sitting there and expecting treats. And for his part Gabriel is slowly learning (with a lot of input from us) to slow down, watch out for Yora's paws and keep his toys out of Yora's designated spaces.

Thank you again for all of your advice. We couldn't have gotten where we are without you.

Vicky and Ava

“We had been having increasing problems with Ava’s behaviour towards other dogs who came too close. Helen helped us understand Ava at a much deeper level and the reasons behind her behaviours and even more importantly how to deal with them in a very calm and kind way. We are so pleased to have Helen to help us, she is very knowledgeable and everything she recommends works! Thank you Helen.”

Kaye Scott, Training and Behaviour Advisor, Bedlington Terrier Rescue

"Helen worked with us to help one of our Bedlington Terrier rescue dogs who had an issue with dog to dog reactivity. Her approach was very professional, and the new owner spoke very highly of her methods and guidance. The lad is now able to enjoy life and the owners have learnt so much from her. We would certainly be more than happy to recommend Helen and to appoint her again. Thank you, Helen, for your support, valuable help and sound methodology."

Yvonne and Teddy

“Thank you for all your suggestions and experience - I have a different dog! Teddy wouldn’t go out, did not come to me, was nervous and lacking in confidence. He was confused. At this moment he is totally relaxed and exhausted as he has had a fantastic run with other dogs on the Common and came back to me for a reward. He is a happy dog.”

Sue and Rosie

"I was experiencing problems with Rosie who had shown signs of stress and coprophagia. Helen's calm and sensitive approach has put me at ease and her Behaviour Modification Programme is easy to follow. She has helped me to understand our girls’ behaviour, I am feeling more confident with my dog training and most importantly the girls are very happy!"

Marta and Tia

“At the moment we are still practising the two methods and I absolutely love them and over the time can see improvements in Tia’s behaviour. Even I am calmer now because I know she will respond to me in any situation. So Helen, I would like to thank you so so much for your absolutely amazing help! It has been a pleasure to work with you and I will be highly recommending you :-).”

Lisa and Misty

"Misty is a lovely, good-natured dog but she would bark and lunge at other dogs, which made taking her out very difficult. It has been invaluable to have Helen's input, and we are pleased to report that things are very much improved. We have a much better understanding of Misty's behaviour and feel happier knowing that we are doing something to address her behaviour in a way that is based on positive reinforcement."
